Author Guidelines

Article texts must only be submitted electronically according to the following instructions:

• After registering on the PERMA Journal website system, the author will be able to submit through access with the login and password defined in the initial registration;
• Manuscripts submitted for “Scientific Articles” section will be allowed to be published in Portuguese, Spanish, or English as well. Other sections accept only texts written in Portuguese.
• An article template is available in Open Document Text (ODT) format. We strongly suggest that you use LibreOffice's “Writer” text editor to write your work and save it in ODT format. This ODT file can be uploaded to your Google Docs and, if you desire, inform a share link in the field "Comments for editor"  of submission form. This will facilitate the work of the PERMA Journal team, accelerating the review and editing process. Other text editors can edit ODT format as well.
• All texts and contents submitted to PERMA Journal must be unpublished. If based on texts already published by the authors themselves, it needs to be explicited that the text must contain substantial modifications and updates (in this case the original text/content must also be sent for consideration). For article translation, the author needs to prove that the original work is licensed in order to allow its translation and republication in another language;
• Submitted texts will be plagiarism and self-plagiarism analyzed by detection tools before being forwarded to reviewers;
• Manuscripts must describe briefly the contribution of each author to the article before the first text topic;
• The American Psychological Association 7th edition citation and reference style available on Zotero must be used. It is pretty advisable to use the PERMA bibliography database in Zotero.
• Abbreviations for measurement units should follow the International System.
• Words written in a different language than that adopted as manuscript default need to be in italic.
• All content will be licensed via Creative Commons - Attribution-No Derivatives-No Derivatives.
